Autonomous Docking by machine vision for Wireless Charging: Senior Design Team ‘Nextec’ (2020)

SCUTTLE Project: https://github.mxet.io/scuttle This video is not comprehensive but it covers most of the design and demonstration of the charging system built by capstone team “nextec” at the Texas A&M ETID department. This team graduated in fall of 2019. The proof of concept design charges the robot’s 3-cell lipo battery wirelessly and recognizes the scuttle arrival. The scuttle uses machine vision to discover the charging station’s colored beacon.
